To combat the issue of tree care, for instance, I would attach little letters onto individual trees starting with, 'Hey, you!' to address the person reading the card. Then a little card would be written through the perspective of the tree, telling a bit of its story and encouraging some sort of positive action to be undertaken by the reader. Then, as with the trees in Melbourne, an e-mail address could be provided for people to write back to the tree and create a sort of dialogue. By creating this personal connection between people and trees, they will become more invested in the trees in their surroundings and will contribute more to their care.
