PerpetratorA person who deliberately uses violent and abusive behaviour to control their partner or former partner, whether or not they have been charged, prosecuted or convicted (source). | |

Pick up artistSomeone who practices techniques to attract and seduce potential romantic or sexual partners, often through conversational tactics and psychological manipulation. They are criticized for promoting misogynistic attitudes and viewing relationships as conquests. | |
Poor behaviourUmbrella term for any type of negative interaction referring to gender-based violence, no matter the gravity. | |
Psychological violenceOne of its manifestations is isolation. It can have the form of: confinement, withholding information, spreading disinformation, constant criticism, and threatening behaviour. | |
