Differences in age, gender, professional background and personal style between the team members can be an opportunity if the team is able to appreciate and to integrate these differences in the team work, otherwise these same differences can represent a potential risk for misunderstandings and conflicts within the team work.
  2. How can the potential risks be overcome? The more the team members get to know each other, with tolerance and open-mindedness instead of a judgmental approach, the more the team members are ready to appreciate each other.
