Decision taken by a single member on their own

Adequate modality when:
The decision has to be made immediately; there is little time.
A single member is called to decide on simple issue, frequent issues which barely involve the other members.

Risks/Disadvantages:
An immediate response isn't necessarily the correct one. The individual might not see the situation as a whole.
