In this module you will:

  • describe what is a situated approach and how it differs from traditional approaches in urban design and urban planning;
  • distinguish how contexts are differently understood and perceived from a bird eye view to ground level;
  • describe tools which can be implemented in a situated approach;
  • Appraise how to apply a situated approach, based on methods and tools which have been experimented.
