In this Week you will:

  • be provided with the tools to make a basic analysis of the characteristics of your travel to identify and assess risks and to design your personal safety strategy accordingly;
  • be guided in the analysis of your personal characteristics in relation with your travel, being these your gender, ethnicity, religion, political opinion or membership to a particular social group;
  • learn which are the distinguishing aspects of your travel regardless who you are and how to make a basic contextual and institutional analysis of the historical track record of security and of geopolitical situation of your destination;
  • discover which critical issues, risks, weaknesses or opportunities and strengths can derive from your behavior according to different environmental, cultural, economic and social contexts;
  • have an overview about information security (e.g. making videos, taking photographs, using social media) and about appropriate technologies related with local environmental issues.
