EPISODE 2

After settling down in a small village, Geronimo started his work at the local NGO.

He stayed in a dormitory provided by a religious organization that supported the NGO.

After the first week of activities, while he was speaking with a group of people along a street, Geronimo was stopped by a person that wore informal clothes.

He introduced himself as a member of the ‘secret service’ of the President, and started asking questions about the purpose of Geronimo’s visit in the Country.

This figure was interested in understanding whom Geronimo was working for and why was he looking for information about the local population.

Upon meeting this person for the first time, Geronimo was frightened and felt he had not provided satisfactory explanations about his thesis work, his studies, and his interest in contributing to the scope of the local NGO.

He was told that his work could have had destabilizing effects on the political stability of the region.

The person he met told him that he wanted to check the material contained in his tablet, suggesting that he expected to find compromising pictures and documents.

He also tried to push Geronimo out of the room where they were talking, with the purpose of taking him to the local police station for further questioning.

This person suggested that Geronimo’s entry visa into the country was not in order, and that he was hiding the true purpose of his visit to the country.
