Regular flu vs severe tropical desease. |
After some days of illness, on September 13 Hardik eventually decided to go to his family doctor, complaining to have fever and cough from few days. He was also complaining dizziness, with a general sensation of fatigue. During the visit, his doctor asked him about his last days and if he had experienced any travel.
Hardik reported to have visited his relatives, in his home country, with his family. He came back almost a week ago and, at the moment of landing, he was feeling perfectly ok. After few days, fever and difficulties in breathing occurred. On this basis, his doctor decided to prescribe urgent X-rays, so Hardik went to the Emergency Room (ER) of the hospital the very same day, bringing back the results to his doctor, who said that X-rays did not show bronchopneumonia.
The doctor eventually prescribed antibiotic therapy for 6 days.
