Participating in all the proposed activities and contents this week, will enable you to:

  • comprehend and identify the different principles to take into account when planning and designing urban forestry project;
  • recognize ecosystem services provided by urban forests, differentiating between different services;
  • understand and identify how the existing areas can be included in developing plans;
  • distinguish the basic concepts of a tree inventory and its application to urban forests;
  • understand the capacity of GIS and RS tools for assessing and mapping the distribution and some key functional properties of urban forests.
