Time and the degree of control the teacher should keep are the two most difficult things to manage during a course, according to Jonathan. Time, because he always had to take care not to let the activities take too much time more than expected. The degree of control, because he had to decide whether to interveen or not, each time the activities were getting longer than planned: was it better to stop them, or to let them take longer in order to effectively reach their learning objectives?
