Participating in all the proposed activites and contents pertaining to this week, will enable you to:

  • define what entrepreneurship is, what characterizes it and why it is necessary or needed for successful urban forests;
  • explore the importance of defining and measuring impact and how to identify relevant impact indicators suitable for developing urban forestry NBS or enterprises and attracting funding for these;
  • understand the role technology could have in the design management and monitoring within urban forestry;
  • list a range of different public and private ways to fund urban forestry initiatives;
  • summarize what makes an urban forestry project attractive for investment/grants etc.
