Now it’s time to move!!!

Take a walk of about 30 minutes through your own neighbourhood.

  • What urban forest components do you see?
  • Can you identify and group them?

The urban components we ask you to observe and classify are: individual trees; groups of trees in parks; urban and periurban woodland; trees along streets and on squares; forests; other, namely ____.

You can download on your phone and/or print our form and bring it with you to record your observations (hints: can you see street trees? Do you walk through local parks? Don’t forget to look up as well).

How has your perception on the “green level” of your neighbourhood changed after this “observation” walk? Use the forum below to tell more about your thoughts: do you discover something unexpected?
