Dear Student,

you are about to complete the course. Before taking the final unit, you are invited to reflect upon what you have learned in the units 5-8. Try to figure out the four situations described below and fulfil the required tasks.

1) You have just seen a beautiful sweater in a shop window and you want to buy it. Imagine a dialogue with the shop-assistant. What would you ask?

If you need to refresh your memory you can go back to Unit 5, especially to e-Story/Situations 3 and 6, and e-Language exercises 3, 8 and 10.

2) You are writing an e-mail to your Italian friend and you want to tell him/her what you did yesterday. What would you write?

If you need to refresh your memory you can go back to Unit 6, especially to e-Story/Situations 1 and 4, e-Grammar 2 and 3, e-Language exercises 2, 3 and 12.

3) You friend wants to invite out an Italian guy/girl. What would you suggest?

If you need to refresh your memory you can go back to Unit 7, especially to e-Story 4 and 5, e-Grammar 3, e-Language exercise 8.

4) You are at the university and an Erasmus student ask you to briefly describe the Italian university system (subjects, marks, timetable, etc.). What would you say?
