Investigation
Students should come to class prepared after having read an article (or watched a video, or both) for the out of class task. Once split into groups (better if up to 5 people), students will discuss the resource in great depth, arguing its findings and their relevance or the general credibility of the resource itself. This is very similar to a seminar style course, but rather than having the instructor as the facilitator of the discussion, students have to teach one another and come to an agreement on the main issue raised by the teacher. Groups may be asked to produce a one-page summary or a presentation at the end to be reviewed to ensure they understood the article sufficiently. A classroom-level final discussion is welcome, according to the number of students and the timing.
