WHAT?
- Title: “Open at the Margins. Critical Perspectives on Open Education”.
- Description: This open book represents a starting point towards curating and centering marginal voices and non-dominant epistemic stances in open education. It includes the work of 43 diverse authors whose perspectives challenge the dominant hegemony.
WHO?
- Curators: Maha Bali, Catherine Cronin, Laura Czerniewicz, Robin DeRosa, and Rajiv Jhangiani.
- 43 Authors.
WHY?
- 43 authors coming from the global South and global North, women, authors of colour, LGBTQI+ authors, librarians and K-12 teachers, independent scholars, and student authors.
- The diversity of topics, analysed from non-traditional lenses.
- The mixture of informal and formal contributions, all available with an open licence, directly in the book or published elsewhere.
