Open Pedagogy Project Roadmap
WHAT?
- Title: “The Open Pedagogy Project Roadmap”.
- Description: The Open Pedagogy Project Roadmap serves as a guide for teachers and instructional designers who intend to plan, find support for, share, and sustain open pedagogy projects. The Roadmap is based on four modules and explores the 5 Ss of open pedagogy projects: Scope, Support, Students, Sharing, and Sustainability.
WHY?
The Open Pedagogy Project Roadmap is a guiding template that supports the design phase of the pedagogy project. It helps by offering a structure for considering relevant variables and, at the same time, tips for facing challenges and variables to evaluate while making decisions.
Through a very simple and effective structure composed of an Overview and a series of questions to support users while designing activities, it takes them through each critical step necessary to analyse and decide about the scope of the project, the kind of support needed/available to make the project successful, the level of involvement and the active participation of students (with an eye on ethical concerns), the important step of sharing the work, and its sustainability in time.
