This activity allows you to dive into the actual design of a MOOC. Follow the steps listed below and upload your work to the forum!

Step 1 – Instructions:

  1. Download the sample course design template from "Designing Educational Innovation." It will help you understand how to complete your own.

    2.  Download: example template

  2. Now it’s your turn: download the design template for your course and fill in the required fields (purpose, target audience, intended learning outcomes, methodological approach, assessment criteria, material format, and activity format).

    3.  Download: template - design your course

  3. Upload your completed template to the course forum and receive feedback from other participants. (Remember to explore the forum, review what others have created, and share your own comments or suggestions as well.)

Step 2 – Tips:

  1. Remember, you can use ChatGPT or any other AI tool for support.
  2. Download the Smart Learning Design booklet from this link — it’s a step-by-step guide that summarizes the Smart Learning Design 25 hybrid teaching method. It can help you decide which types of activities to include in your course.
