Key words and concepts
Interactive whiteboard
An interactive whiteboard is a technological tool that serves as an input system for teachers. In addition to allowing writing, it can manage digital content such as slides, images, and videos. It can be used as a traditional whiteboard, as a duplicate of a laptop screen, as a full-fledged PC, or as a tool for interacting with web or visual collaboration applications. The interactive whiteboard offers the opportunity to actively engage students in interactive activities and work together in real time.
Frontal approach
The frontal approach is a traditional teaching method in which interaction between teacher and students is limited. It is typical of large classes, and the teacher's primary role is to present content and occasionally solicit student reactions. Students are primarily listeners and participate by asking questions and responding to the teacher's input.
