Processing second generation composite structures

This short lesson discusses the difference between manufacturing a composite structure from virgin and recycled feedstock. While many of the composite manufacturing methods can be used for virgin and recycled feedstock, especially methods that are used for continuous fibres are typically not applicable for recycled fibres. Also, some methods are more suitable for thermoplastic or thermoset resins.
