At the end of module 2 students will be able to…:
- Explain the different DOD (debonding on demand) technologies and their mechanisms (chemistry, process, trigger mean);
- Select a suitable DOD system according to specification requirements;
- Plan suitable analyses & tests to qualify a reversible joint for a targeted application;
- Describe what covalent adaptable networks are and discuss their application and role in the area of reversible materials for recyclable-by-design composites, in comparison with traditional thermoset systems.
