At the end of module 4 students will be able to…:
- Explain the different material requirements of recycled feedstock for composite materials and compare them to the requirements of virgin feedstock;
- Justify the similarities and differences between the processing methods of second generation and virgin composite structures;
- Choose suitable characterization methods for recycled matrix and fibres as well as for the fibre-matrix interface to support the evaluation of the suitability of recycled feedstock for second generation composite structures.
