WEEK 4 - INTENDED LEARNING OUTCOMES

The fourth week is dedicated to analyzing entrepreneurship and the phenomenon of Startups as drivers to innovation. Pillars of Business Model Canvas and Fundraising as well as Open Innovation approaches are investigated.

In particular, you will be able to:

  • understand the characteristics which define a startup compared to other businesses;
  • define what is a Business Model Canvas and how to read it;
  • know the different stakeholders in the fund raising journey and the different stages they need to be engaged in;
  • understand what Open Innovation is and to explain how startups can become very important also for established companies.
