WEEK 1 - INTENDED LEARNING OUTCOMES

In this week you will learn the basic knowledge regarding data-science. In particular, you will be able to:

  • understand and argue about the role of data science in modern economy;
  • understand and argue about the role of data science in creativity industries;
  • identify the differences and definitions of data science, ML and AI;
  • memorize the data science terminology and identify risks related to wrong adoption;
  • explaine the basic concepts of human generated content;
  • Recognize and select the methods for text, images, time and space analysis;
  • define causality and correlation, and be able to classify them;
  • understand the concept of network model and how to build one;
  • apply the methods for network analysis.
