Introduction

In this week we discuss the relationship between Creative Thinking and Design Thinking highlighting the importance of adopting a process and a Human-Centred approach to reach innovation, undertaking dynamic and global changes. A process structured in four main steps will be presented together with different application cases that show the benefit and the potentialities of empowering creativity and design for innovation.
