In this lecture we will describe the main features of nuclear reactions and you will learn how to measure the so-called reaction cross section.
After this lecture you will be able to:
- describe a nuclear reaction
- identify the main nuclear reactions;
- describe the energetics of a nuclear reaction;
- define the reaction cross section.
