The laboratories of Radiochemistry and Radiation chemistry @POLIMI are devoted to basic and applied research in the field of nuclear engineering, medical applications and material science. During this lecture you will see how to determine the concentration of uranium, using some methods and techniques available in the Labs.

  • list advantages and disadvantages in determining uranium concentration in water by alpha spectrometry and Inductively Coupled Plasma mass spectrometry.
