2015 was a milestone for the sustainable development of our planet. In September 2015, in fact, a global commitment, ratified by several countries within a United Nations framework, relaunched the path towards a new sustainable development program for the planet to be implemented by 2030. The so-called “Agenda 2030” with the 17 development goals linked to it, provide an ambitious and holistic reference framework. Everyone is involved in tackling this urgent challenge to “transform our world”: the challenge is global and concerns everyone, developed and developing countries, rich and poor societies; it involves all sectors of the economy and reaches all levels of application in society. Therefore, it is not simply a matter of adjusting our development path, but of radically transforming it, seeking new societal models compatible with the sustainable regeneration of finite resources available to us and to future generations. The video reports the original spirit of the global commitment in 2015 that led to the ratification of the Agenda 2030.
