This week is centred around CREATING SHARED PROSPERITY. According to the Resolution adopted by the General Assembly on 25 September 2015, the United Nations declared that:

Prosperity
We are determined to ensure that all human beings can enjoy prosperous and fulfilling lives and that economic, social and technological progress occurs in harmony with nature.
This theme includes the following SDGs:

  • SDG 7 - Ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all.
  • SDG 8 - Promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all.
  • SDG 9 - Build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization and foster innovation.
  • SDG 10 - Reduce inequality within and among countries.
