AIbook practice: your turn!

It's your turn to practice with the AIbook Smart Learning – Learning with AI!
This exercise, unlike the Take Away Quizzes at the end of each module, is not graded and does not count toward earning the Open Badge. However, it is a valuable opportunity to deepen your understanding of the course topics and apply the concepts you’ve learned in a practical and interactive way.
Exercise 1: Exploration and Organization
Objective: Explore a topic of interest to you and understand its structure.
Choose a topic you want to learn more about. Using the AIbook:
- Start with a general overview to get an initial idea.
- Identify and describe the main parts of the topic, organizing them in a hierarchical structure.
- Represent this structure in a schema or concept map.
- Compare this structure with an expert on the subject or a reliable source (an expert, the index of a well-known manual on the subject, the structure of an online course offered by a well-known university).

Exercise 2: Connecting and Comparing
Objective: To better understand a topic by making connections with other concepts or contexts.
Take a topic you are studying and, with the help of the AIbook:
- Ask for practical examples and metaphors to understand how the topic applies in different contexts.
- Select the example and metaphor that seem most convincing to you.
- Compare the topic to a similar concept or context that you are already familiar with, identifying similarities and differences.
- Summarize the similarities and differences in a table.

Exercise 3: Synthesis and critical analysis
Objective: To develop the ability to synthesize and critically analyze a complex text.
Provide the AIbook with an academic text or article on a topic of interest to you and:
- Ask them to analyze the logical passages and the main connections of the text.
- Using the AIbook, create a short summary that highlights the fundamental theories or principles underlying the text.
- Critically check the results, comparing them with other sources or your previous knowledge.
