AIbook practice: your turn!

It's your turn to practice with the AIbook Smart Learning – Learning with AI!
This exercise, unlike the Take Away Quizzes at the end of each module, is not graded and does not count toward earning the Open Badge. However, it is a valuable opportunity to deepen your understanding of the course topics and apply the concepts you’ve learned in a practical and interactive way.
Exercise 1: Review key concepts before doing an exercise
Objective: to review and consolidate the basic theoretical concepts to better understand the context of the exercise.
- Select a topic you want to work on. For example, a physical law, a mathematical theorem, or a scientific concept.
- Use your AIbook to review key concepts: ask them to explain the theoretical fundamentals in a simple way, provide practical examples, and use analogies to better understand the topic.
- Compare the answers provided by the AIbook with the material available to you (textbooks, notes, etc.).

Exercise 2: Decomposing a complex problem
Objective: to break down a complex problem into simpler and more understandable steps to deal with it gradually.
- Identify a complex exercise that you are finding difficult.
- Use your AIbook to break down the problem: ask them to provide a step-by-step guide, explain each step individually, and indicate how to verify that each step is correct.
- Try to solve the exercise by following the steps provided and note any difficulties.
- Compare the process to the correct solution (if available) or discuss the steps with a teacher or fellow student.

Exercise 3: Preventing Common Mistakes
Objective: To identify and prevent recurring errors in a given type of exercise to improve the accuracy of the answers.
- Select a type of exercise where you have encountered difficulties or where errors are frequent (e.g., unit conversions, formula application, or complex calculations).
- Use your AIbook to identify common mistakes: ask what the most common mistakes are, strategies to avoid them, and practical explanations to better understand them.
- Create a list: Collect frequent mistakes and suggested strategies to avoid them in a table with two columns: "Error" and "Strategy".
- Apply the strategies to a new exercise of the same type: apply the suggestions during the resolution, trying to avoid the identified errors.
