AIbook practice: your turn!

It's your turn to practice with the AIbook Smart Learning – Learning with AI!
This exercise, unlike the Take Away Quizzes at the end of each module, is not graded and does not count toward earning the Open Badge. However, it is a valuable opportunity to deepen your understanding of the course topics and apply the concepts you’ve learned in a practical and interactive way.
Exercise 1: Define the scope of production (essay, paper, etc.)
Objective: to train oneself to correctly identify and delimit a topic, avoiding being too generic or dispersive.
- Basic definitions: Use your AIbook to ask for a clear and concise definition of the topic you want to produce the paper on.
- Delimit the boundaries: invite the AIbook to suggest which aspects of the topic are fundamental and which, on the other hand, can be considered secondary or less relevant to the final goal.

- Present the initial thesis: communicate to the AIbook the basic idea you want to support.
- Provocative questions: Ask the AIbook to ask you 2-3 challenging or unusual questions to test the solidity of your arguments and discover new points of view.
- Integrate feedback: use the questions received to revise your thesis, adding insights or nuances that can make it more solid and original.

Exercise 3: Refining and correcting the final paper
Objective: to develop the ability to revise and improve a text, exploiting the collaboration with an LLM with a view to experiential learning (Kolb, 1984).
- General analysis: provide your AIbook with the entire text of the paper and ask them to evaluate organization, clarity and coherence.
- Point corrections: Identify one or two crucial paragraphs and ask for specific suggestions on style, consistency, or form errors.
- Integrate the recommendations: Revise the final text by integrating the AIbook suggestions, double-check the main thesis, and make sure the work meets the initial goal and agreed structure.
