Active bystander

A person who decides to speak up in the face of poor behavior to make a difference. An active bystander is someone trained to notice the situation, recognize the poor behavior, evaluate the options, and choose the right way to act and which strategy to apply, keeping personal safety as a priority. They play a proactive role in promoting safety and preventing harm.
