We propose now an overview of some techniques useful in teaching to develop green soft skills: Problem-Based Learning, Simulation, and Gamification.

Innovation in education focuses on implementing positive changes that improve the operation of higher education institutions and curricula.

Innovative teaching techniques to develop green soft skills are intended to enable the interactive creation of knowledge, using approaches, methods, and techniques that mobilise creative and critical thinking, combining classical teaching methods with modern digital educational tools and techniques.

These approaches should translate into better team management results in STEM studies that are particularly interesting to us and prepare students to work in the conditions of the green transformation of the economy.

Many solutions and tools can be used to develop green soft skills innovatively:

  • Flipped Classroom
  • Blended Learning
  • Problem Based Learning
  • Project Based Learning
  • Simulation and Role Playing – Oxford Debate
  • Escape Room Challenge
  • Gamification of Learning
