This course will focus on the development of soft skills through active learning methodologies in order to try to bridge the gap between what is taught in universities and what is required by the job market, with a special focus on transdisciplinarity.

Attending this MOOC will enhance your  awareness of:

  • the key steps to be followed when designing a learning experience in your course with the main objective of soft skill development;
  • recognise and describe key elements of teaching practice design in the frame of active learning methodology;
  • identifying points of attention when working on soft skills;
  • comprehensively supporting your students while they develop soft and digital soft skills.

The course is designed as a discussion based MOOC based on real experiences, told by instructors who implemented active learning in their classes during the academic year 2019/2020.

Starting with their experiences (Look inside: voices from the field) you will be guided along a learning path that will help you to enhance your  understanding of practical strategies to be implemented while designing a teaching and learning experience with an active learning approach for soft skills development.

An essential part of this learning path is related to exchanges among participants in the forum.

You can reply to Weekly quizzes and participate to activities in the forum whenever you want till the end of the course.

The whole contents and activities are available also offline: download the MOOCLET!

You are also invited to join the Active Learning for Soft Skills Development Community where you will meet a group of university and corporate representatives around the topic of Learning Innovation for Soft Skills.
