Kurt Lewin’s UCF (Unfreeze-Change-Freeze) model is an evolutionary model that describes a linear process process characterized by three distinct phases which take place in a sequence that cannot be changed.
Real change is considered a confined period of passage: what prevails is the stable situation, before and after the change.
The model was created after the Second World War (1947), when it examined the method of democratic change in post-Nazi Germany.
