Nostalgia

Nostalgia for the “good old days” often prevents people from looking ahead and opening up to the new situation.
Some changes, in fact, break consolidated social and inter-relational ties (nostalgia) or are perceived as a threat to people's position, whether powerful or comfortable, that they have acquired in the company (sense of loss).
