Fritz Roethlisberger, who conducted the Hawthorne studies (see additional materials), believed that an individual would interpret any changing circumstances on the basis of their attitude.
He created an outline that relates change with individual attitude (according to individual history and social experiences).
In summary, people are not automatically opposed to all changes, but favour or resist change, depending on whether it is deemed positive or negative for their condition.
