Here is a scene from the movie Ender's game.

PLOT
Ender Wiggin is a promising twelve year-old, selected to be trained at Battle School, an academy located in a space station orbiting around the Earth, where children compete in sophisticated simulation games to prepare for the real war, which could start at any moment. After killing millions of terrestrials in their first attack, the Formics are destined to return, and humans cannot be caught unprepared. So thinks Colonel Graff, who is also confident that, beneath his apparent fragility, Ender satisfies the requirements of a true leader, and so puts him through severe tests, separating him from his family and letting the envy of colleagues isolate him further.

In the selected scene, we see one of the final sequences in the movie: the ‘final battle’.

ANALYSIS OF THE SCENE

In the movie, Ender chose one strategy over the other, because he misinterpreted the real situation.

Speaking with the colonel at the end, he points out that there are other strategies besides LOSEand that not only winning mattersit is also important how you win.
