CASE STUDY - The moaning colleague - Preparation
Here is a case where a talk is conducted effectively.
Follow the development of the case study sub-divided into the three different stages of the process.

For a while, Martha has been noticing that her colleague Paul always complains to her about their boss, Mr. Johnson.
Martha is really embarrassed because of this behaviour, she has no problem with Mr. Johnson; he has always behaved professionally and loyally with her.
Once Martha tried to defend her boss, but was attacked immediately by Paul with the words: “You're the boss’s favourite…”
Martha decides to talk to Paul, to stop him involving her in his problems with Mr. Johnson.
She prepares well for the talk, reflecting on what she wants to say, and what her goal is.
At a calm moment she plucks up her courage and turns to him…
