Remember a time when you should have provided feedback to a person about their behaviour, action or way of doing things that had been bothering you, but you did not say anything.

  • In retrospect, how could you formulate your message in a constructive manner, without impacting negatively on the relationship? Give feedback following the steps of the O-I-S rule.
  • If you were able to express the feedback constructively in the particular situation, what would you have ‘gained’? What would have the benefits been, for you and for the other person?
