PLOT

With the arrival of the Garibaldi in Sicily, the Prince of Salina needs to manage a crisis in his world - made of seemingly immutable traditions - and to deal with the shocking social and political news that the unification of Italy is about to bring. He does so with the intelligence and foresight of one who understands that “for things to remain the same, everything must change”.
