Kubler phases

The Kübler-Ross model describes the change from a psychological point of view as a process in phases: the latter can occur in any order, recur later on and even overlap. This last feature is the distinctive element between the phases model and an evolutionary model (for example Lewin’s UCF model).

Elisabeth Kübler–Ross (1926-2004), was a Swiss psychiatrist.
Her model is based on extensive research carried out on people who have been diagnosed with a terminal illness. Her model was also used to explain reactions to painful changes (grief process, loss of job, separation).
