Before now I don't know anything about science communication. I am not a scientist, so I do not need to write or summarize complex concepts, but in these last lessons we have addressed many involving questions on this topic and given useful advice on how to face them. I really believe that I have acquired many important skills that will be useful to me in the near future and that's why I'm happy to attend this course.

Science communication has to be adapted, taking into account the target groups, the goals pursued, and the type of communication channel. In a professional sense, it is usually necessary to communicate the results of scientific research in specialized scientific journals in order not only to share new knowledge, but also to expand the circle of cooperation. I also have to write for various popular media channels, "easing up" scientific language so that it can be understood by a wider, less specific audience. The purpose of such communication is usually indirect advertising of study programs.

I am very interested in science communication, especially in the media. I have written articles on popularizing science myself. It is very difficult to write in non-academic language. Simplifying the message and writing attractively are not strengths of a scientist. I participate in popularizing science in schools. It involves great brainstorming, generating and testing ideas, and speaking in an understandable way. It is great when you manage to interest people in scientific research.

Science communication is crucial for bridging the gap between complex scientific concepts and public understanding. Yes, I am actively involved in science communication at my institution through outreach programs and engaging presentations. It's rewarding to share insights with colleagues and enhance public interest in science.

Science communication is the practice of informing, educating, and raising awareness about scientific topics among non-expert audiences. It bridges the gap between researchers and the public, making complex scientific concepts understandable, engaging, and relevant. Effective science communication uses clear language, storytelling, visual aids, and sometimes interactive formats to enhance understanding and spark interest. It plays a key role in building public trust in science, promoting evidence-based decision-making, and inspiring future scientists.
